Devotions to Discover who Jesus is: Who is it You Follow?
Introduction
During Lent, people talk about following Jesus on His journey to the cross, the grave, and ultimately His resurrection. We are, after all, often called followers of Jesus. But who is Jesus? What do we know about Jesus? In this day in age where social media has followers for just about anything, who is this Jesus we follow?
In these devotions we will be following Jesus in His ministry from His baptism all the way through to His death and resurrection. We will look at the teachings, miracles, and parables of Jesus. Many times we focus on what Jesus did or said in these stories. I’m going to take it a step forward and ask, “What do we learn about Jesus in this passage?” Underneath the signs and teachings, there is a person: Jesus, the Son of God. And He’s a person that I very much would like people to get to know.
