Colleen Schultz

I am married to Charlie and we have three grown children and two bonus children. We also have 7 grandchildren with number 8 due in late August. Charlie has been sole pastor for the past 15 years in a small congregation in Imperial, Missouri.

We grew up and began our family in the town of Franklin Park, Illinois. We moved to Wisconsin in 2001,and I finished my bachelor’s degree at Concordia University,Wisconsin in Early Childhood Lutheran Education. While there God started to work on my husband’s heart and we decided as a family to move to St. Louis so he could attend the seminary. In 2007, God led me to Concordia University, Nebraska and a masters in Family life Ministry.

I have been a preschool teacher for more than 30 years with the last 20 in Lutheran schools. My current joy is doing family ministry for a small childcare center. I also teach Bible study at our church, and plan/lead with other pastor’s wives in our circuit plan quarterly women’s events.

I have had many opportunities to share God and His love for us with all ages. I see God leading me into sharing my story of faith, dealing with a chronic illness and family with so many more and being here with LUTHERWOMAN is offering just that.
