Hannah Schultz

My name is Hannah, and I am so excited to be a part of the LUTHERWOMAN team. I’m looking forward to writing about faith and motherhood and giving reviews of Christian books that I have read and loved.

Born and raised on a farm in eastern Iowa, I am thankful to call the Midwest home. I received my degree in Lutheran elementary education from Concordia University Chicago, where I met my husband Josiah. We have a young son named Simeon.

I taught fourth grade in St. Charles for two years until we moved to North Canton, Ohio for my husband’s vicarage. After a wonderful year there, we returned to St. Louis for Josiah’s fourth and final year of study at Concordia Seminary. I currently work as a part time teacher assistant in a Lutheran school. I love being back in an elementary classroom but appreciate the hours I get to spend at home with my son.

Josiah and I both come from large families, so we love traveling to see them or hosting them for visits. In my free time, I enjoy reading, playing piano, and trying new recipes.
