I am a wife, a mother, a daughter, a sister, an aunt, a friend, a student, a writer, a coworker, a teammate, a teacher, a congregation member… But what really defines who I am is my identity as a baptized child of God. After years of social anxiety and identity crises, I have found my peace and confidence in being a daughter of the King.
My faith has always been a huge part of my life, and I always wanted to be involved in some kind of ministry. After pursuing a career in the medical field, I finally recognized God’s whispers and nudges to go into full-time ministry. Now, I am studying at Concordia Seminary, St. Louis to become a deaconess.
It is my goal to encourage others, especially other women, in their faith to be able to look past mental health struggles, chronic illness, and troubling circumstances to see that Jesus is with them all the time.
I enjoy taking care of things and create things. I find joy in cooking delicious meals, playing beautiful music, and reading good books. I love to get swept away by the beauty of God’s creation and to cuddle with my adorable pets.
I am so glad to be part of the LUTHERWOMAN leadership team and to be blessed with this opportunity to share with you the incredible love of our God.
