Allison Maschhoff

Born and raised in St. Louis, I went to Green Park Lutheran School and Lutheran High School South before going on to earn my bachelor’s and master’s in Creative Writing. Now, I’m moving back to St. Louis to follow my dream of teaching English and Creative Writing at the college level. I am also working on publishing the young adult novel that was my master’s thesis.

I’ve been writing stories and devotions since I was a child, and I’ve always felt that the words in my head are a gift from God. I have been active in youth group and Bible studies, taught Sunday school and ran a campus ministry, but I finally got to put my writing to use for the Church when I wrote three devotions for LWML’s Planner for 2023-2025. Now, I am excited to continue creating written content for Christian women as a member of LutherWoman’s team. Our God is the ultimate Author; in addition to being awe-inspiring and faith-giving, the Bible is a stunning work of storytelling. It is my honor to help in sharing God’s Word through this ministry.
