I was born and raised in Georgia as the oldest of three children. I was also homeschooled for the majority of my younger years. After graduating from college, I followed God’s guidance to St. Louis where I attended Concordia Seminary and Saint Louis University to study and train to become a deaconess and social worker. This is where I met my husband Tim, a missionary kid from West Africa, and God introduced me to the possibilities of missionary service overseas.
Together, we are currently serving as missionaries with Lutheran Bible Translators. We are preparing and training to move to Cameroon next year to work with the Subula people on their first full Bible translation and literacy program. Until then, we are traveling and sharing God’s mission to the Subula with fellow believers all across our country.
Christ was, is, and will forever be the Savior for all people. Sharing the revelation of this precious and gracious gift with everyone who will believe is the foundation of why I strive to faithfully serve God and His beloved. I pray that you and I will always be reminded of this eternal promise and Christ’s steadfast love. He is risen indeed! Praise be to our God.
